Got the clutch housing off and the edge of the flywheel cleaned up . Found a "T" mark and several lines after it . Then got distracted again .

Surprisingly enough, no . I got "quietly" reminded of an errand I was supposed to run .

it's a project I'll probably retire on , because now the vac calls have started again, getting close to time for the roads to get posted.

The roads have gotten posted for winter weights, the vaccing is down to one small job tomorrow morning. Gotta finish making brackets to mount the loader on the tractor , then I can get back onto the 414 .
RickNCMD found out the marks by the T are 2 degrees each, I've gotta get the flywheel housing off a 400 series IH truck engine and I should be off to the races .

I was talking to my mechanic yesterday about my 1066. Probably same set up. Mechanic told me there are 2 marks on the pump, one is for tdc no1 cylinder. the other is for No. 6. One is a line and the other is a 0. Don't ask me which is which.

Got it timed correctly the other night , although it may be 180 out , still better than 90 off . In the middle of trying to put the old clutch housing on so I'll have a starter . Might pull it back apart and rip the shafts out since I don't need them and the splines are what' keeping it from lining up . supposed to rain tues so maybe I can spend some time getting it rolling over .

Ive got a good allis motor I will sell you and you can just put that Ih out of its misery. That's an oxymoron. Good Allis motor ? Besides , I need a diesel engine not an electric motor .
