Marlands:
Reread my post from the other day and wish to let you know in no way was I dissing your site! You have a nice forum and at least you moderate it but for some reason it seems hard to generate traffic here. Agweb powered by Farm Journal seems to be a joke, and it is a real shame as it sure could help the content of their magazine. I found Agriculture.com very hard to use until they showed me the linear format so that at least someone with my weak talents could use it. Afraid that I have little talent or thought for starting threads and prefer to read posts rather than post.

No need to reread , I didn't take it that you were dissing the site .
I was just providing my thoughts over the journey this forum has taken . And the content conundrum we faced IE ; those that would complain that there was no content here but yet those same people wouldn't contribute to build the content .
As far as you preferring to read instead of post , lurkers are always welcome .

Forums are born , forums die , it's the way of the internet . With the advent of facebook and a few other social media sites that are way easier to post pics etc , the traditional message boards are taking a hard hit , look around , it's really not the boards or the mods or the members fault , it's just the current trends killing the boards . Not even a small Facebook user but you did let me in the group over there. Every once in a while, a topic on machinery or crops does come up with some useful info. Is there a way to search your group for subject matter? I'm not on there very often but it does take time to wade through all the "stacks in Pickups", "Meep", "Kellogg" etc. posts to find any useful info

Not that I'm aware of . Yeah, cabin fever has a firm grip on the boys , and there's a lot of insanity going on . Hopefully it'll become more of a balance between information and goofing off as the weather turns warmer .

The beef is starting up though too. I'll see if I can post some stuff. How about some tomato harvesting?
