Since marketing is kinda my thing on these boards I thought I would post here first on this site. Monday, in my opinion, will set the tone for the markets for a while. So what will it be limit up or limit down. The weather maps Monday morning will tell the tale I guess but it looks to be explosive either way. I'd buy the closest to Mondays close in Dec corn a steak dinner but you would have to come to Greene County IL to collect. Guesses in by 4PM Sunday.

It all depends on the 10 day forecast from here on. We're set up to make some really convulsive moves in the market, especially corn. If we take even 3bu off the average, we go from surplus to deficit. Monday I see as the first volley. When pollination is complete over the greater part of the corn belt is when the tone will be set. Until then, we're gonna trade weather and emotion for the next two weeks. I'll take a look at the long term weather at noon on Sunday and take a stab. It better be a GREAT steak if I have to drive to Greene county to collect....

I ain't smart enough to play your game Larry, but that steak sure sounds good.
(By the way, I've become a big fan of Denny Crane's YouTube clips that I can find. Only part I've ever seen Shatner play besides Jim Kirk that I liked.

Cam, I know you're smart enough and then some. But its my treat whenever the Brown's want to come across the state. And I would put a Lone Oak steak up against any. They are good.

dec board at 6.85, major resistance is set at 7 doallars?? bollinger bands show outside range of 7.20. I read the commitment of traders report from last week just a minute ago sayin that the funds net long is back to very long. To sum up: the board will trade what it trades.
Put me in for for 20 up on day trade. 705

Damn, got busy and forgot the deadline. I'll throw my guess in here now.
Close on monday is $6.81
Trade will say that currently, the heat is helping make up for late planting. Friday's close will be in the $6.70 range.
It will take another week of dry weather before the panic starts.

Your probably right with that Dave. Corn catches up cause it gets hot and dry. Allways some BS with the markets.

Corn corn corn corn.....
Guys.. Theres a wheat harvest still in full swing in colorado and heading up to the dakotas.
Not a single one of you thinks this wheat market puts 1 iota of pressure on the corn price?
Wheat is gaining ground again. If it goes back up a buttload I'm hardpressed to believe that it will not influence beans and corn.
Those guys at the mercantile exchange associate one commodity with the rest it seems alot in my very small amount of study.
Another thing.... I havn't seen any of you speak of overnite markets yet either.... It's 4:14 a.m. cst and I don't have a clue where to go look to see whats taking place world wide but how come noone worries much about overnite changes anymore?
Thirsty for knowledge in an uncertain never ending no rule crap shoot.
