Do these things have a filter somewhere ? Driving A/C works fine blows cold nothing wrong. Sitting at idle and the dumb thing will not cool at all blows hot air. Has new condenser as of last summer and keep it blown out so not plugged. Any ideas?

It's a GM thing...my dad has an '06 D-max and it is the same way.
The cabin filter is in that black colored plastic doo-dad underneath the glove box...4 screws I believe and shimmy it out.

Kinda pain to get to, but should be replaced regularly. You'll be surprised how much dirt is in the thing.

The one in my Peterbilt I replace about every 3 weeks.

I can't believe they quit that option...no wonder the inside of mine gets dirty so quick.
I don't know what to suggest other than blowing out the heater core/evaporator under the dash and the condensor out front. If it works fine while driving it sounds like a lack of air flow out front and maybe as Mojeeper suggested, get the fan turning while it's parked.
