I was just thinking that today as we were driving back across town. There are large areas inside city limits that look like dang good grass for hay, and the idiot city is spending money to keep it mowed. Over here in eastern Oklahoma, just north of Tulsa, we have received just barely enough moisture, but it seems enough to grow native grasses way better than anything west of I-35. I'll visit with someone, dunno who, and see if we can make arrangments.

It won't be available for a couple of months but I planted my irrigated circle to cane and will be selling it. Do people want big squares or round bales? Probably could go either way.

Got a 2 year supply of big rounds of grass hay in NW KS for sale..
Cash on the barrel.
I can even setup the trucking if they prefer but it's a 600 mile jaunt one way give or take.
Money in my hands before anything moves.
Emails in my profile.

Rich and Hobby Farmer if you are serious about selling it run an add in Craigslist in the Tulsa, OklahomaCity, Dallas and Wichita falls areas these guys are BEGGING for hay As for the money I have a friend that they sent him a certified check a week before they picked up any hay he sold them close to 1000 bales

What kind of money you hearing a ton for the big rounds of grass? I need to push a pencil for the trucking end of things if I have to take care of it.

Too bad about the shortage of hay. There are millions of acres of CRP hay that's going to just rot away cuz pheasants and prairie chickens come first.

I look for the usda to release it in the areas drought stricken... the guys just have to pay back this years payments to utilize it. Good tradeoff for them if they have any to access. Bcreech... I texted the person you sent me info. I have not heard anything back yet as of tonite. I told him you informed me of his situation so if you hear from him thats why.
