Press the Home button and Power button (top of phone) at the same time. Screen will flash white and you'll hear a camera shutter sound. You'll find your screenshot in the camera roll.

Does the same apply to an Ipod ?
I need to get better use of my ipod. So far it's taken a couple pictures, and a couple videos that my Toshiba Satellite cannot play or upload to anyplace online. Other than that, it has 1800 odd tunes for the commute.

Yes - iPod Touch should work the same way. If it is an older generation without the camera, I'm not sure. Give it a try to find out.

'Nother question...is there a good 'talk into text' app...??
I probably should've waited the 2 weeks and paid the extra hundy for the 4s.
I know, I'm lazy, I don't put much time into looking/researching stuff.

Also, tried the voicemail to text app for a while, same deal. There were a few that weren't even close. Might be worth a short try just for entertainment value.

There are a couple. I got intrigued by this once the 4S hit the market and tried a couple of apps - one I even broke down and spent a couple of bucks on. Neither was any good. My Droid 1 got that functionality in an OS update and it sucked too - too many mistakes in the voice recognition.
The 4S seems to be pretty darned good according to those who have them. It seems like Siri works really well for MOST users, but those who have problems, REALLY have problems with the voice rec. There must be an issue with just certain people's voices - but this will no doubt get worked out in time.
Sooo, in my opinion, save your time and money on trying to find an app that works as well as Siri. Just hold out for the real thing. Other people's mileage may vary on this topic.
