I wanted the title to be "sometimes you just have to stop the tractor and have sex" but it wouldn't fit. The redneck gooseneck picture jogged my memory about something that happened 3 or 4 years ago.
I winter some cattle about 4 miles from the house. I sometimes go up there 3 or 4 times a day. I had just come home and for one reason or another went back about 30 minutes later, half way out there I came upon two newer John Deere tractors, (like 5300 or something like that, no cabs, 70-80 horse, I am not up on the numbers), one was hooked to a wagon loaded with household goods with a John Deere round baler behind it, the other had a trailer made out of a pickup bed with a fuel tank and a couple hog feeders in it, with a hay wagon behind it and a grain drill hooked to it(fairly narrow). The hay wagon had an assortment of household goods and hand tools on it. They were pulled on the side of the road and shut off, with no one anywhere around. We owned both sides of the road, and I was concerned as much as anything as to what was going on, no one I knew had tractors like that, I didn't know if they were stolen or what. I knew they had just shown up since it was only a half hour since I had been through there.
There was some timber a distance from the road(it was a really nice day), I walked out there to it, there was a very young Amish looking couple who evidently felt "the need to breed", and pulled over for a quickie. We have no Amish within 60 miles of here, we are between the community in Garnett and Yoder, all I could figure was they were going cross country to Yoder(I think that must be 150 miles). I didn't stay to visit, I think they didn't really want to talk to me anyway.
