Never seen it done but some guys had a discussion about it on NAT and one guy even had pics. Looked like good wheat. I read in a farm magazine once about different row spacing. They determined you didn't suffer yield loss until you got wider than 14 inches. If' you're shooting for 100 bu. wheat it might matter, otherwise probably be OK.

The dealer tells me it is the most wonderful thing ever. I have trouble believing it, but have raised crap for wheat the last several years anyway, I probably don't have much to lose. I suppose you might have fewer problems with disease with the better air circulation, but much more with weeds.
Maybe I should plant it in 30 inch rows and cultivate it.

I'm sure it has been done but I don't know what plates you would use. You need about a million plants per acre and most milo plates, etc. just go to 150,000 or so. A million plants per acre is shoveling it right out.
