anyone know how to get the billhook assembly out of a nh 273 knotter? or better yet is it possible to just drive the pin out for the tongue on the billhook cause thats really all i need to replace

There is a wedge pin in the lower gear above the billhook. The pin is situated in the valley between the teeth, you will need to dig for it. Drive it out and the billhook will slide out. There are part numbers for changing just the hook and pin.

If you have tryed changing very many billhook pins in the baler you will probably try to drive the pin out of the gear first and then pull the billhook and shaft out of the baler and take it to the vice. Its just hard to get those billhook pins to move unless you are banging against a hard surface.
