To all who have had to see the ugly side of 48 I am sorry he showed his ass over here after posting repeatedly he would not do it. Only took him a couple of days to start with the crap again ...small at first but he knows how to escalate it. As far as my accusing him of abusing the stocker feeders in his care that is true, Marland has the photo evidence and I could not get it through my skull how to post it last night right here. There Is NO FEED worth eating out there. As far as dragging this through this site...I don't want to see it either. The immediate cure for it is for me to resign my "commission" here on AAF and leave. It is not fair for you to have to put up with this. It is not fair for any of you to have to take sides. It is very clear that he has a boner for me, I, and especially all of you fine folks don't need this. I am making to easy for all... so long for now. Anybody else that wants to kick me can do it in a private e-mail. It is posted in my profile.

bentover: Are you kinghere? FYI I have a standing offer to Hobby to settle this man to man, but he appears not to have the intestinal fortitude to do it. But, he can drive 90 mi out of his way to snoop. How am I suppose to handle this? All my fences are hot. I never have cattle out. When I went to Houston to see my Mother in the hospital, I had my neighbor taking care of them, and he said some got out, but they put them back in immediately and fixed the fence. These steers came in here at 476 and after about 90 days are pushing 700. Do you think I am starving them? Out here the main grasses are Buffalograss and Blue Grama and Western wheatgrass. Buffalo grass and grama are worthless forages. All they do is hold the dirt in place. The Western wheat grass is the main forage and thrives in the draws and creek bottoms where it is presently over 12" tall. Soooo....you tell me how I am supposed to handle and individual like Hobby? Hummmm....?

Hobby: You can relax. I'm not going to tell these guys the truth about you. Why don't we have ses come over and look at my pastures and these cattle and tell everybody if I am abusing them? You are lieing out your azz.

For FWIW these cattle were scheduled to be here for 90 days. 91 have been here for 90 days as of Aug. 17, and the other 91 will have been here for 90 days as of Aug. 22. But, I have plenty of grass, and the owner wants to wait until around Sep. 1 to pull them into his feed lot. But, there is plenty of grass, and we are going to run a SECOND set on wheat, corn stalks, and grass pasture. Does that sound like the present steers are short of grass? The point is...these cattle have been here their allotted time per standard stocking rates, and it would not be unreasonable for the pastures to be grazed down. But, there is still plenty of grass out there cuz the Good Lord has blessed us with nice rains.
