It's really hard to get a handle on Argentina. Their govt. is a big mess, a hindrance to their farmers. (All we need here is obamunist imposing a grain export tax). BTW seed companies do their winter seed production in Chile because Argentina is just hostile to business.
I do regularly check Argentine weather during the growing season (yeah, I need to get a life) and seems they are in a drought pattern the past few years. Are they a contender in next year's corn production? Yes, but not that significant.
The US must release the non-HEL CRP acres. While I like high corn prices, we're in danger of hurting our livestock and ethanol sectors. We can't afford to have those markets hurt.
End of soap box rant.

Hello everyone, I am expert trader and non farmer Matt, Im currently working with a couple million of little old lady fund money.
This dang bull market is going to screw everthing up. The grand master plan of the world was for USDA to call everything unchanged So we could get down to some 6 dollar corn at harvest. Add that with some bad economic news and we could have had it down to 5.30. Then when the finalized poor yields started rolling in in November and December, we could start our upswing back to 8 dollar corn next spring. But no, you danged farmers and your danged hot weather had to screw up all of our smart trader plans.
This stagnant market is about to make me go crazy, how am I going to feed my kids, so what do I do. O, Ill just become a bull and try to get some up movement right now. Then we can have down movement this winter when we realize all the end useres can use 8 dollar corn. Im just need some movement. Please help feed my family.

Really??? What are you guys, like 12 or something? Nevermind... Forget I said anything. I was being serious heck people tell me all the time that my beef need to be cheaper and that my hay does also and if I could get corn at $2 bushel then I could lower my prices and still make a few $$$ plus be able to feed more beef for the same input cost now why can't you sell me your corn at $2pr bu If folks ignored market prices and voluntarily sold corn for $2/bu, (given current demand) how long would physical shortages last between harvests? Would we be "corn-free" for a month? Two months? How would we ration back demand to make supply stretch if we sold at sub-market levels?

Really??? What are you guys, like 12 or something? Nevermind... Forget I said anything. Are you having a mid-life crisis because your turning 40 tommorrow? If you want marketing advice do the opposite of what I do and you will do o.k. Happy Birthday looter! Thanks bud! Actually next year is the big 4-0.... Gonna hire a band and have a big Ho-down... Today was cool. Woke up in NE on a buddy's couch. Me and the Old Lady hauled a squeeze chute down to him. Funny, I met his family via Agweb. I work with a lot of folks who read but never post. Stopped and got a new bit for a colt. He adjusted perfectly! Very nice ride... Practiced mounted shooting. I still suck at it, but having a ball. Tomorow me and a couple friends are gonna rope some sick Yearlings and doctor them in the pasture. They might not even be sick, but merely on the slow side. The only thing that could make it better is if I could dance with the hutterite chicks and Prairie Princesses tomorrow night in my 17 person hometown. Instead I gotta annoy my father-in-law at some family deal. Think I will show up naked again. He hates that. Sunday I'm going near Sturgis to evaluate hail damage. Gonna hafta winter those cows elsewhere cuz grass, corn, and forage got wacked. Sad deal for friends there... Then its Dakotafest all week, where I smile like a madman, shaking hands and slapping shoulders with third-degree hangover covering 90% of my body. All the while scouring my phone for interesting news to talk about. If I make 40 it will surprise lots of folks....

It would last about 15 minutes so the shortage would be 365 days - 15 minutes. BTW: I want to be the buyer...how many bushels you got I could aquire?

Looter is into big Hos right now. See they have really big panties and he's looking for parachute material. Fat chick panties make the best parachute material. It's all very complicated.

Looter is into big Hos right now. See they have really big panties and he's looking for parachute material. Fat chick panties make the best parachute material. It's all very complicated. Kevlar came about after studying the effects of a fat chick wearing a thong for an extended period. The change in the composition from massive forces applied to the material is space age science. A long time ago Sawyer Brown stopped for a concert on my home county Rez. They had a little concert, and I was in the front next to stage. They went to singing "Some Girls do". As they were going through the lyrics of that song they go, "Some girls don't like boys like me, oh but...." The lead singer sticks the microphone in front of me. I finish the sentence by screaming "FAT CHICKS DO!" into his Mic as load as I can. The entire band just falls apart into a fit of hysteria. There's only like 50 white folk and 150 Indians at this deal, and they were just having fun anyway, but it took Mark Miller, their lead singer quite awhile to stop convulsing on the floor. Afterwards we hung out, drank even more beer and bullshitted. Just then a 400 lb squaw comes along and sits on me and plants a big wet one on me. I was horrified but they thought it was the funniest jitt they ever saw.
