Amen ;D I'm still not as concerned about getting it planted as I am the weather in July and August. We got everything planted early last year................and that didn't turn out to well.

Oh come on Mark........don't be a Debbie Downer. You do have a reading comprehension problem don't you. What in my post leads you to the Debbie Downer phase? I said I wasn't worried about getting it planted (should I be?), and that I thought the summer weather patterns would still be the deciding factor. How many years do you remember the crop not getting planted?

We have been doing alittle field work and putting on AA. I cant get to excited to plant when the ground temp is 42 and they are only calling for low 50s by the end of the week.

Mark, you just said you got everything planted last year but it didn't turn out too well because of something that happened in July and/or August. Debbie Downer If you're gonna plant crops for a living, you're gonna have some years that don't turn out. That's what crop insurance is for. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Let's have a better attitude! Like us for example, milk prices aren't always so good so then we cull cows and make adjustments. As far as how many years do I remember the crop not getting planted, we didn't get it planted in '93.
