This is an opportunity for end-user......may not last long if late Spring comes to pass. Take advantage to get corn locked in until new corn.

Not yet. Corn is still overpriced, compared to the price of milk, as much as corn guys think that this is some sort of "gift".
We are going to stop raising half of our heifer calves. Maybe raise every other one, or only the ones out of the better cows. Our custom heifer raising bill will be cut in half. You can buy a springer for less than what it costs to raise one. We will save or make $50k a year by doing this move. Sexed semen has just raised hell with the heifer market.

LOVE to see the boys like Sheep Herder over on Double-Standard Talk whine and cry incessantly over the weather and price of corn. Keep it up! Great entertainment. Hope it's working for you.
