I have been trying to get my head around the horrible tragedy in Conn. this morning.
I just realized that probably 90-95% of those parents have Christmas presents hidden away for those children.
Anyone who has lost someone close knows how hard it is to go through the possessions of a deceased family member..................let alone Christmas presents of a murdered child.
Last evening when my school bus was loading, I was watching my young kids board thinking HOW could some one be sick enough to do such a thing.
Anytime something like this happens I feel bad.....but not like this.................I suppose it's because of the kids.
The only other national disaster that made me feel so bad, for folks I didn't really know, was the Challenger explosion. I'm not sure why that had that effect on me but it did, but still nothing like this.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those families

Me and my wife was talking about the christmas present thing, i cant imagine how hard that would be on a parent. This whole ordeal really breaks my heart, if you think about just how scared those poor little kids must have been, it just makes me sick.
