Moved an old southwestern bell building onto the farm last spring and I want to put a small "lean to" on the side to put a few things under and give protection from snow and rain. I'd like to match the tin this building has on it. I havn't been able to find anything smooth like this tin is. Honestly, I think it's aluminum instead of tin as flimsy as it is and considering it was a kit and put together on site and the upright's inside behind the plywood are aluminum as well. Can any of you point me in a direction where to find some of this smooth sided "tin" ? Thanks Attachments:

How big are the sheets? It may be nothing more than heavy sheet metal like used for making rectangular duct work.
That is not going to hide all those tanks from the EPA when they come looking for your spill control documents. ;D

I spose these sheets are every bit of 2' wide and the long side is probably 14' feet long. As for the tanks, I'm exempt.

The "lean to" I want to put on is to keep wood dry for the fire pit for the weekend get togethers Been doing great feelnrite. Life is Good. Especially since cleaning house on the claimed friend dept. Best f'n thing I ever did was ditch that fb acct, change my cell number and join the real world. Alls good up this direction.

Hard to see in the pictures, but are the sides a wavy metal like big corregated tin. The roof metal is possibly available through metal building supplier or builder.
Your might try Western Metal in Hays to get some help. 800-770-2725

Most has some sort of ridge or is corrugated. Not this stuff. I havn't ever seen tin like this before except the strips that are used on siding for house corners or the seamless stuff thats in rolls and bent on the job site be it siding or gutters.

You can buy the metal for sheds before its rolled. Anybody out your way make metal siding for pole barns.
