I had four rocks piled on the platform out side the cab that I'd got off the header.
When I stopped at the end I went to open the door and found that one rock had rolled off the pile and wedged itself between the door and the pile.....door wouldn't open enough for me to get out.
Thought, for a while, I was going to have to call the wife to come move the rocks, but I had a screw driver n the cab that I managed to role a rock off the pile which took enough pressure off I could push door open.

Friend of mine did a similar thing. But when he opened the door the glass shattered.

You need to mount a rock box on the side of the combine somewhere behind the front tire would probably work and you wont have to chuck the rocks up on the platform and no worries about getting trapped in your combine. ;D

You are supposed to pick up the rocks before you plant or as you plant. Rocks don't grow while plants are growing. They prefer to grow in worked soil.

I told him I'd come let him out but I'd have to laugh a little bit first. Oops, I mean if I could get out of the combine first.

One of my brothers works in the oil patch but the people he works for also farm a bunch. I'll bet Wheatfarmer knows them. Out of Russel or Gorham I think. They bought a combine and had it delivered. The guy who put the tires on forgot to tighten the bolts and it dropped the one side of the combine down and bent some of the tinwork and steps up so he couldn't open the door. The boss man was the one stuck in the cab. They couldn't get him out for a couple of hours or so. Guess he was kinda pissed when they finally got the door open.
