Was at store yesterday. Is there any differences in the three or so Sta-Bil products? Besides price? They had regular, one for Marine use, and one for Ethanol.
BTW: I don't like there TV ad for there new Ethanol blend.

Does it matter? I have never used it and all my small engines start and run just fine. One had even set for 3 years before it was used.
On a similar note, I fired up an old combine I had setting in a shed as a person was interested in a cheap combine for his 80 acre farm. The machine hadn't been used for about 12 years, JD 6600 with gas engine. Replaced plugs and points, engine fired up with that old gas, no problem at all.

I agree some what. Never used it in my lawn mowers or other stuff. But have always put it in my chainsaw gas. I just bought two Jet ski's. Don't know if it does any good but shouldn't hurt. The 2 cycle stuff seams to be more finicky then the 4 cycle.

Doesn't the oil for two cycle help to make it last longer anyway.
I know of a car that had sat for 10 years with gas in it, the folks either bought it or inherited it. They drove about and hour and half and it quit running on them, the gauge showed it had gas still, when we got it in the shop the float was stuck. The tank was rusty and had to be replaced, we also put a new pump in it. We couldn't believe it ran with that old of gas in it. It was an early to mid ninety's Buick.

I would think so. The boat stuff now days has a separate tank for oil and it mixes it on its own. My, old school of thought is "gas will varnish in the carb" Maybe that's from the 1970's IDK.
I run some "special" cleaner in my gas and Diesel to help with injectors and carb. But want to keep gas "fresh"
Hillbilly. NAPA has seafoam. Thanks. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Read the seafoam can dickweed, it is a stabilizer. If I was you I would go to Napa also because all the independents don't like dealing with consumers like you. Napa is used to your type.

Smash I think you need to get it at Autozone. They have good trained staff that can answer questions unlike alot of independants. Plus its probably 60 cents cheaper. ;D
