Keep it to "Farmers", John. Who is complaining the most on here? Corn farmers watching their crops burn. boo hoo. No sympathy here. You have 85% coverage (or could have had). I havent seen too much complaining on here about crops burning up. I have seen you crying about how hard all this is on you. Quit whining and go find another job or learn how to run a more efficient dairy.

You are a piece of work, ogden. Not a regular poster. Never post anything of substance. Just on here to get a piece of me. Are you an old Agweb poster? A friend of ses'?
Go to NAT. Look at the farmers complain. All the way to the bank with the taxpayers money.
It bears repeating. Consumers feel sorry for the crop farmer. Little do they know the whole story.

I find this site, like most ag sites, extremely pro-crop farmer. I am only trying to infuse a little dose of reality.

If you think 85% coverage or whatever coverage anyone has, makes up for no rain, then you need to go through it a few times and see what you think then. I've had two years in a row of no rain and I have insurance and I can assure you I'd much rather have had some rain than the insurance. I don't farm all that much and I would have been $100's of thousands ahead with some rain instead of insurance.
