The dryness is starting to show up. It ought to look real ugly by friday afternoon since it is suppose to start heating up tomorrow. Attachments:

our corn isn't near that tall... unless it's under irrigation. We're dry too though.

Yeah, my corn looks like that too. One thing about it, the hay is crap, so we need the silage. I hope crop insurance doesn't go bust.

Walked into some of my April planted corn yesterday (7-4 ) and it was over my head , no tassels yet , but very close.......sure hope this heat breaks soon.

Don't worry wcityilfarmer I am sure the crop reporting service still thinks it can make 166 since it was planted early! Your picture looks exactly like mine. Hope crop insurance has really deep pockets this year we are going to need it.
