The weather forecast screwed me pretty good this week. Forecast as of this past Wed. was for 4 nice days in a row -- so I, along with a lot of others around 'here', mowed hay almost all day. 10-1/2 hours worth for me, and at least one of my neighbors mowed for 14 hours, just trying to get - while the gettin's good, if you know what I mean.
Anybody wanna guess what happened Thurs. morning?
Nice gentle rain. Quarter inch worth.
*$^%@ weather!

I've got the opposite, a hot spell coming and I'm going to be in bins . Soaked through my underwear by 7:30 will be the norm.

We could use a rain. Been too hot and dry for about 10 days with another week coming. Could get ugly in a hurry.

Been a good couple weeks since we've had measureable rain...95 and humid today and I think the next 10 days are predicted near or above 90 with not much rain.
