Have an International, single axle truck with this engine. Drive down the road and runs fine for 6-8 miles. Then it starts to lose power. Drop a gear, lose more power. Another couple of miles it will die. Let it cool off and will be fine but the process repeats. Changed the fuel filter. No better. Getting worse. Any ideas?

We had a truck do hat. Turned out to be the fuel line , which was rubber, collapsed. Just old and deteriorated.

Thanks, and you guys were almost right. There is a small inline strain before the fuel filter that has a sceen about the size of a 20ga shotgun shell. Packed clear full of rust.

Ron, I'll bet if you clean that filter your tractor will run better. All of that rust will keep fuel from flowing through. You're welcome.

Thanks again Ses. I was just throwing a harness over the wife and strapping her to the tow hooks. Worked pretty good till one day I found myself laying in the middle of the road and her foot constantly bouncing off my nuts. Knew it was time to get the thing runnin on it's own. I should of had her on a shorter rope. Well, I guess you live and learn.
