Anyone on here involved in it, as the dairy or the grower, or any observations from the outside looking in. Still looking at doing the dairy, but circumstances have changed enough that I am not so sure it is still a viable option, starting to look at a plan B.

I sold hay to a guy who raised dairy heifers. He didn't last too long. With sexed semen there are so many heifers the dairy industry is swamped with heifers and with high corn prices I think there's probably a lot of hurting going on.
How about sheep? Have heard people are doing pretty good raising them.
Or maybe raise goats and pimp them out to the muzzies in your neighborhood.
