Started going around and taking a few pics of this years crops. Been a bit lazy about toting a camera so far this year. Piddling with a pivot this morning gave me a chance to walk out through some of the oats and hay. Attachments:

Alfalfa is thick, a bit mature, and lodged. I predict much fun to try to run the haybine through. Attachments:

Nother shot of the oats. They look awful good for as tough a start as they got this year. Drill needs new openers badly. Attachments:

Alfalfa field looking towards the south. Wheat across the road is the neighbors. Have no clue why it lodged, rest of the field is fine, that part of the field was in pine trees and was cleared so the pivot could make a full circle. Attachments:

Supposed to be an alfalfa field. Planted it behind corn and had some atrazine injury. Took the rotary mower to it to clean it up some, want to spray it with some select and foliar fert and try to wake it up and see if there is a stand worth saving. Good amount of stems per square foot, but having a hard time competing, and I am limited on herbicide choices as our neighbors planted watermelons on their half of this pivot. Attachments:
