I want to put a two way radio (marine band of course) in the cab of my 2366. Does anyone know of a place that has some solid plate or something behind the upholstery where it could be attached? Haven't looked in the manual yet but thought maybe someone might have an idea.

It's a bit un-handy, but in our 2188 I put the radio under and to the right of the seat and just used velcro tape to hold it down. Find switched power in the fuse panel right behind there and ran the antenna up the right front cab post and mounted it on the mirror bracket.

I put mine right in front of the hydro stick on the console.

Ours is the same place as Acks.

I built a bracket in our 2388 for the radio on the right side of the seat near the back corner. Bolts to the hole in the bracket near the power connector by the cup holders and mounts the radio so it is about arm rest high. Can't find any pics on my computer but can try to get some in the next week or so if needed

Mounted mine right under the yield monitor, made a bracket that extended the YM bracket that allowed for the radio.

Dave, my combine has the factory yield monitor mounted to the ceiling of the cab on the right side. Is that what you have also? It's all on a plastic appearing mount that screws right to the cab top. Did you just make a mount to that fits under that mount or over it? I haven't looked in my cab since I read this so I might not be remembering quite right.

If it's like mine don't take the screws out that hold that plastic mount out. They have nuts on top under the roof. I mounted the GPS display there and took it down to make sure I didn't drill into any wires and had a terrrible time getting it back in. Thought I was going to have to take the cab top off but finally got the nuts back on by removing the weather striping and going in from the side

Pretty poor design to make it like that. Thanks for the picture. Steve

Nope, it was an added AgLeader. It was mounted to the cab ceiling. You can take out a panel at the top front of the cab and gain access to it.
