has anyone ever used magnets to mount monitors in a tractor cab? I seem to be running out of ideas to mount stuff in my 7710 ford. Seems there just isnt enough room on the corners, cowl is metal. Any ideas are welcome. I need a planter monitor, outback s2, and a round baler monitor-maybe not all at the same time, but i need it to be easy to switch one out for the other. Bolting one to the cowl means I would spend minimum half hour changing monitors because of the way the cowl comes apart, and i hate the damn suction cups for the s2 anyway.

Is there any way to run a bar from right front post to right rear post?

Not sure electronics and magnets are a good combination.

peeler..i was wondering that very thing. didnt know if it would affect anything in the electronics. Mo..you have me thinking maybe I can run a bar along the front of the cab just over the cowl and mount the monitor in the cab corners..I like to have my monitors in front of me..especially the light bar.

I think the are called Ball Ram Mount's. Just mount the ball's in the area needed and have a short arm fixed to your screen's and such. Once installed takes only about 5 min. to hook up and remove stuff.

JohnWayne. Here is what I built. I just used some angle Iron and 1/4 bolts and the angle going into the dash is just a self tapper. Has held up for 7 years . I built another one for my 8030 that is just square tubing with flat plate on the bottom with two bolts going through the floor board and the top is flat plate 16 inches long where I can hang several monitors. Allot of options, window brackets seem to work real well! or corner mounting brackets, and using Ram Mounts makes it easy to switch monitors Attachments:
