I just stepped out front to move the water hose, trying to keep 75 small Norway Spruce trees alive in the heat. I can see all the stars here at our house. Radar shows a rain storm South of Columbus Indiana, that has to be about 100 mile South of me and it is lighting up the sky. Wish that rain would have passed over me.

Oh I can believe you can see it. Some of the clouds are probably 35,000ft.

I see lightning in northern Missouri from here a few times a year and I'm 110 miles north of the border

Ranger , I'm down in Shelby county and same here , was out side and seen it , came in a checked the radra and at that time it was near Salem IN about 10 miles south of me , BTW have raced at montpelier but been a while LOL do they still race much up there ?

well Damn it tryed to edit last post and have not got this part figured out yet LOL Ranger should have said 100 miles not 10 miles .

Yes eci, they still race every Sat night, they had a double header last weekend, Fri & Sat night. We live just 1/2 mile West of town on St Rd 18 and when the wind is out of the SE it sounds like they are racing around our pond. It's been about 3 years since we have been to a race, don't know anyone that races there anymore. Here is a link to the Montpelier racetrack. www.montpeliermotorspeedway.com/

Thanks Ranger , We ran with the TQ's up there , been since probably 2002 since we were there , funny thing was every time we went up there it rain'd us out or it start'd to rain as we got there , lol Have a good one and hope we can all get some rain ------- SOON
