Bought a bigger planter so now have to switch planter tractors its a 16/31 kinze, and I'm thinking of either putting it on our 4955 JD, or our 8940 case, right now the front wheels are set out on both of them so they turn short, but id like to move the wheels in to plant, so which one will turn shorter with the wheels on 64" , or should i forget the mfwd and just plant with our 2wd 7220

Just ride the brake a bit. That's not approved on some forums... Specially on combines..

well on certin brands of combines the brakes could over heat couseing fire.. I don't think a person is supposed to sit on the brake that long. Once the turn around is made the brake should be fully released. ;D
