Where is the roof?
Looks good, cows look good too. You still milk in tiestalls or do you have a parlor.

crete is spendy, Headlocks cme from a guy who was tearing them out (quit milking years ago) what we didnt buy went to the scrap yard, platform is 10 foot manger is 3. Rest is Hoglats set over dirt. Theres hog slats in front of the manger cept for the closest 10 feet in the pic, had to move a big chunk in there, so there is crete in frot of the poured manger so the feed isnt in the dirt and its solid year round for the skid loader to turn on (no TMR yet). All the slats where under the old platform. Milk in tie stall no need for a roof, never had one before, its for feeding Dry cows a bred heifers. and silage from the bags to the milking herd part of the year. Hopefully getting more slats and pit covers (10x10 crete) from a hog barn thats getting tore down, will put more out in the yard so its big enuff to fence off and let the cows out when its muddy. Also since this pic was taken we got gates hung on the end and the side instead of the baler twined temps. thought you guys would like it since theres no wood posts!

Like I said looks good, glad to know that you have some cement in front of feed slab....that is all I was wondering. Hope it works out well for you.

its working great, Been telling dad for years we need a hed gate or something for vet work. Then 2 years ago i started thinking about a better way to feed (knew how just the where to put it) then 2 Expos ago grandpa left the gate open and heifers got out well we where 325 miles from home. he got them in just fine but somehting easier needed to be done, then along came the cheap (almost free) head locks. biggest pain was getting crete ordered in as there was lots of Bins being built yet last fall. first time i locked after we were home to see what needed adjusting grandpa say there was a heifer in heat, checked well there were locked found her, bred her and dad says why did we wait so long to do this?
