Tuesday turnaround, or Bull trap?

The open action caught me a little off-guard.

Maybe the start of the summer rally, maybe just an adjusting of positions. We're coming well off the opening highs, but not at all expected in corn, less so in beans.



Anyone else have an idea??

No rain in the High Plains this week and temps in triple digits days in a row.

Talks of hay shortage seems to be a real possibility this year. When that happens corn will increase too to compensate for extra feed.

I look for the next thing to happen is cattle numbers increase at the salesbarn, price will drop.... but as to how that influences the corn.... At this point I'm not sure.

how soon before the next crop report from usda? Final reporting date is the end of this month at FSA for spring planted crops.
