I would like to get a 12 row planter to replace my old 6 row 800 cyclo. The kelderman fold 900 looks pretty slick, but I want to be able to put on liquid starter. Did any of these planters come set up with liquid, or has anyone added a system? Would I just be better off with a rearfold or end pull?

Used to have 900 12 row kelderman........it was o.k., but don't really miss it either. Slow to fold and unfold, and honestly the only advantage we experienced was the smaller shed footprint for storage. As far as setting one up for liquid, I would think you could as long as the tanks were on the tractor or a tow-behind unit. Depending on how large your piggy bank is and brand preference.....I would strongly recommend a Deere or Knize, maybe even a white if its in good shape. It would be easier to mount tanks on the planter on any of those, IMO. If you are hell bent on a Kelderman fold, pay attention to the wing hinges.....we never had trouble with them, but others in the area did.
