I'm debating about adding a front tank to my sprayer tractor. It's a MX120. I can either mount it on the front 3-point, or directly to the frame. I have a front 3-point but don't have it on the tractor at the moment.
Here is the idea. I'd like to add a 250 gallon front mount tank to add additional capacity to the 3-point rear mounted sprayer I have. I need more capacity, and don't want to go pull-type and don't have the acres to justify even a small SP sprayer.
I like the flexibility of the RM sprayer. In about 10 minutes, I can de-mount the tank/booms and free up the tractor for other use. That's why I'm leaning toward mounting the front tank on the 3-point. So I can drop and go.
There are several companies out there that make tanks, frames, etc, but having trouble coming up with anyone with real world experience doing this. Plumbing, etc.
This can be a winter shop project making mounts etc, or just buy the package, mount, and go.
How did you do it, or how would you??
