I was thinking about doing it tomorrow, we have no moisture with a 90% chance of rain tomorrow night. Or should I wait till the snow is on? Also thought about spreading a little wheat with the grass. Anybody have any pointers?

As late as it is, I'd prolly wait until next March and frost seed it. I'd go ahead and put the wheat out there now though. Mulch would help keep it smooth if you've got it nice right now, but if it is mulched, you can put the grass seed on a little earlier to give it time to sift down through the mulch, juse a little more seed if you do this though. A mulch tacker if you can find one is invaluable this time of year to help keep the mulch where you put it, especially with it dry like this. Attachments:

I have it all smoothed up now. I thought about spreading it and just dragging a panel over it. But I may just spread the wheat instead of the grass. We'll see if it's raining by moring..LOL rain. Never seen a tacker before.

Tackers are pretty much specialty items for critical area seeding. All seeding work around watershed dams has to have the mulch 'tacked'. A pain in the ass, but also not too bad an idea since the mulch won't blow into piles in dry, windy condtions.
I built my tacker since the commercially available ones were VERY expensive.

if your on bare dirt a piece of chainlink fence works good for smoothing, before seed.

65 and windy, think I might try to seed it today. Ground is pretty dry on top.

Ought to work good. The wind should help the seed work down through any mulch or other growth for good seed/soil contact, then a few freeze thaw cycles, and it's off and growing.
Put on plenty of seed ... thick grass is better than bare spots and weeds.
Wind swirls today might create a spot or two where it's hard to get good coverage with seed, and if you're not satisfied with ur results today, put some more seed on those areas when the wind settles in a day or two.
