I use the crap outta my gear wrench sets and have had no issues what so ever. I think they're a quality wrench.
I didn't enlarge the pic..... but do those have the flxible ratcheting end? Seems like I grab for them first over the fixed end ones.
If you don't like em you can always send them to me!!!!!
jd
edit: Looked at the expanded pic.......... I'd say you came out pretty good on both sets for 100.

I'd say you did good. Personally, I do not use mine much. First set was a gift and are the kind that you have to turn over to change ratcheting direction. Because of that, they are straight without offset. Second set has the toggle to change direction. They are better but too bulky many times. 9 times out of 10, I'll grab the regular Snap-On first.

We use the crap out of our gear wrenches, I like them better than the craftsman ones, they are finer toothed. Be careful though, using them on a battery and arcing them can ruin them.

oh my .02 with them...... don't use another wrench on the end of them for leverage and don't use them to hold a bolt head when using the cordless impact. Kinda mames them

I am like the others and use the gear wrenches all the time. I prefer the flex style to save some skin on my knuckles. The best time saver is a 15/16" to use on the long belt tighteners on the combine.
Has anyone else noticed that the quality of Craftsman seems to be going down hill? I was looking for a new tool box and could not believe how cheaply made the new boxes were and I was looking at the better box with ball bearing drawers. Needles to say I did not buy one. I have also noticed a big difference in the quality of replacement tools vs the original ones. I guess you cant expect to much when they started selling Craftsman products at K-Mart!

Maybe they should label it Martha Stewart instead?

Maybe they should label it Martha Stewart instead? How about the "Bubba Stewart" Line of tools?

did i get a good buy? is gearwrench a specialty brand like crescent or visegrip? or are they a cheap version.... any experiences? i still have the receipt so i could take them back.... thanks Keep 'em. You got good stuff. Hate to hear that about Craftsman. I got a lot of 'em. What can a farmer afford that carries a complete line of tools? Don't want to afford Snap On or Matco.
