Looks like 91-96 all week with 30% chance of rain Friday. I voted in the 85-94 cat.

We are the same as Cowboy Corn. Doesn't really matter here anymore. Everything is toast. It would be nice to get a little moisture to give us a chance to plant a little wheat this fall. Without that it will get dirty and ugly this winter and next spring. BTW......good to see you Cowboy Corn, I thought maybe you had fallen off the edge of the world! Are you living in you new little farm shack this time of the year?

We're forecasted at 95-98 through next weekend...this excessive heat warning deal keeps getting extended, now it's through Thursday 9pm so far.

When it gets like it's been I refer to "Ollie" the weatherman on Family Guy.
... and now here's Ollie with the weather. What's it like out there today Ollie?
IT'S HOT OUT!
... and now a word from our sponsor.

As I type this, the thermometer here says 91 degrees and 74% humidity...and I don't think it's too far off.

Depends on what part of Kansas you are in. You get over by manhattan and the humidity there is horrible just like Mo and Ac deal with in Missouri. Go farther west where I am and it lightens up but is still very apparent some years. I have seen days its plain dry heat and there are days it's humid as heck. It just varies quite a bit but most usally we do have some humidity associated with the heat.
Still... Nothing like those missourigians have to deal with. I don't know how the hell they do it.
I also have a friend from St. Petersburg Florida... He tell stories about towling off from a shower and before you get your clothes on your are drenched in sweat unless you have a damn good ac in your house.
What I have always liked about Arizona when I was there. No humidity whatsoever. Just a plain dry heat.
