After riding in a combine with a flex draper head and liking what I saw got me thinking. I have a 9550 and to my knowledge no one make a 25 ft draper head. I don't want to trade combine in the near future but feel I can not run a 30 footer. Would anyone else be interested in a smaller flex draper?

I think I would. I was just wondering the same thing as the beans were flying everywhere this week when I was cutting.

Deere, honey bee, macdon all make 25' drapers in the rigid form, would a rigid draper not work for you guys? We run 25 and 30 rigid drapers in soys with no complaints.

Eddie, How well would a rigid handle hills and terraces? I have field tracker on my 1660 but a draper on the front would be nice.

Agco makes a 25' flex draper. You could probably find adaptors for it.

The rigid drapers won't flex, but they will float laterally several inches side to side. Most of our uneven ground is smooth enough that we don't lose any beans to speak of in a 25' swath.

I run a macdon d 60 25' on a 2388. It cuts as close as my old 25' 1020. My ground is fairly flat

You would here. Heck, 20 foot auger header here in the flat would not cut close enough on beans, probably cost me 3 Bu./A in yield, adds up.
