m.ft.com/cms/s/0/3c024fc2-eeb1-11e0-959a-00144feab49a.htmlThanks to Smart-Phones, the world is getting smaller everyday. I actually have a Facebook friend from Saudi Arabia. I ask her what its like to live under oppression. People there are realizing the crap shoved down their throats needs to go the way of the Inquisition. "Rioters in the town of al-Awwamiya fired machine guns and hurled Molotov cocktails at members of the security force on Monday night, the Saudi press agency said. The rioters “need to clearly decided if their loyalty is to their homeland or to that state and its religious authorities”, the interior ministry added. Mohamed al-Saeed, a Qatif resident, accused the Saudi state of ruthlessly suppressing the protest. He said in an email: “For the third day our families in Awwamiya town and Qatif live under brutal crackdown by Saudi forces, just because they went out and [asked] for our human rights and freedom.” It would be a wonderful development for those people there if they got rid of religious nutjobs, but it would suck for us. The only reason they export oil is because they have shit economies that don't use all their own production. The world becomes more interesting by the day.....

----------------Be careful what you wish for, looter. The folks in Egypt just traded a benevelent dictator for Sharia complaint extremist Islam.
The lesson of Iran in 1979, is the loss of a Shah who permitted muslim women to be schooled, to be doctors and other professionals, all of which runs counter to the Koran. You see how well Iran turned out since 1979.
I believe Saudia Arabia rulers are POS. But the fact is that overthrowing the POS will get the common folk a far worse set of rulers, the mullahs. I keep telling you that you really, really, really need to read the Koran, (just the parts on infadels would be enough).
Be careful what you wish for...............

The internal unrest and civil wars will pick up speed until the religious zealots are overthrown for good. I own a copy of the Koran and read plenty of it. Reminds me of another crazy book written long ago. If I wanted to get folks to follow my religion, the last thing I would do is hand them some really old book full of nonsense. You can only hold back REASON for so long....
