Heard some talk about getting rid of them.So my ? is I know some folks that fiquie that payment lowers their rent on that farm. Some farms pay more in direct than others. So that way they can pay more rent on said farm. If that payment is gone all would be on a level playing feild Just thinking

I have an 8 acre base. Nothing is more fun than going to the FSA office and checking the "Farms without a base box" (less than 10 acre base) Just becaue my daddy or any of my landlords weren't corn bean or wheat farmers. I say kick them all to the curve (programs). Lifes not fair, but we don't need people trying to make it more unfair. I remember the first time they told me I couldn't get a low interest grain bin or storage system loan because I didn't have a 10 acre base. A few phone calls (about 200) and 6 months later changed that. And I still never got one of the loans (But thats my fault I got busy a couple years ago and the crops havent looked good enough to need any storage sinse)
