Marland, thanks for agreeing to let me post this over here. We just launched a brand new feature over on AgWeb to help everyone track the progress and the results of this year's corn harvest. We're asking farmers to input their average yield, how many acres and their zip codes so we can place the data by county and state. You'll have to put your e-mail in there as well, just to make sure we don't have any fat finger issues. (We won't use your e-mail or post the results back to any individual, farm or field.) The data will go live after we review it and push it live. We figured there will be lots and lots of rumors about harvest this year and wild market swings as a result. This is intended to be a go-to place for accurate and real-time harvest information. It's just corn this year, but we'll expand it next year for soybeans and likely wheat. The data will show up as state results and then by selecting a state, you can see county by county averages. You can see it here... www.agweb.com/harvest_map.aspxLet us know what you think. Thanks, Marland. I was actually only asking for your permission to promote it here, but I'll take the sticky!
Appreciate it very much.
