Pics quite similar in the Birds Point area from opening the floodway. The COE just released an assessment for scouring in that area.

Pretty sure those pics are from the floodway in Southeast MO. Those pics are what many said would happen if they blew the levies.

It is from the Missouri bottoms. Same thing happened as birds point.

Was that black bottom ground before the levies were blown? Where do you even begin to start with something like that to bring it back into production?

I'm thinking the Muckety mucks in the Army Corps that allowed this carnage because they sympathized with the Sierra clubbies, enviro-wackos, and other nitwits to all be given shovels and wheelbarrows and told to fix it. This was mostly preventable.
