Well, I was talking about my dream portfolio, I'm still working on the tricked out architectural evil underground lair located somewhere in the vicinity of Cypress Hills, Alberta. As for reality, I got both physical and shares in an offboard miner. I hate etf's, I think they are a fraud and like any market I explicitly despise encourage others not to engage in slitting their own throat.
Yeah sure, if you live in a communist hell hole. I don't so I'm not too worried about such.

Thought of the day:
Most humans are hard wired optimists. That explains such oddities as marriage, coastal real estate and day's like today in the market. With so many lemmings willing to jump off a cliff, their lifeless bodies bridging the gap to the other side, never once believing that the starbucks economy is right proper fricked, I'm happy to say that we all probably have decades to prepare. Seriously, it is obvious this sucker is going down like a $40 hooker at a shriner's convention, but nobody wants to believe it.

Huh? Norway is holding back production? Or is this looter sarcasm? Norway would produce 150,000 bpd more if they adopted the lower U.K. taxes on their oil industry. That would all be export oil, as their domestic needs are already met. It would be a short term boon, at the expense of younger folks. Low Time Preference eh?

Interesting country. From what I know is that they want to go to all electric cars in all urban areas, with marginal petroleum consumption in rural areas. Plus they can put half their population underground in hours flat with those DUMBS they've been building the last couple years. Throw in the seed vault and the fact that most of that trillion dollar slush fund is in foreign equities its almost like they can see the future or something....
