Glow: I farm where I have always farmed. Clark Co. Wis. ( JCC on Agweb ). NOW PLEASE GLOW, don't do what you did over there!! We are talking crops.... crops..... NOT POLITICS. Location did not come threw on sign in. And I repeat beans looked excellent after spraying with Raptor, no puckering!! Weeds are gone, grasses and broadleaves!! If I use preplant burn-down ( RU, 2-4D combo ) then Kixor product premerge works good too !!!
I'll leave last word to you!!

Conventional soys or corn are fine with me. I never had much of a problem controlling weeds before RR seed, and I doubt I would if it went away.
gp are you old enough to remember life before rr seed?

Ah jcc aka kwest......dagnabbit since your computer was down, you missed the Dawg Pack meet up at Farm Tech. You'd enjoyed meeting The Duke and his brother, and my Mrs. With KH in the hospital, things didn't go as planned.
Anyhooooo, Raptor is the new Pursuit, I guess. Never used it. There's no market here paying premiums for non-RR beans and that would be the only incentive for me to switch. Each to his own and I hope you have good yields. I have a farming friend near Unity who said he really got mega-rain Tuesday night. Too much rain.

Yes Glow had a major rain Tues. last. 5" even in my guage. Son's overtopped at five and a half, he is mile and half away. Corn and beans needed rain , maybe could have got by with a tad less. Really hard to get second crop hay finished since I have to get it dry. Oh well, just part of the gamble called farming!! John
