Don't like either one. The first one is all I've been able to find and as far as i'm concerned, they are fugly. The 2nd one like your dad's is a full grill gaurd and I don't want the kind that wrap around the headlights. I just want the center section. I've been under the impression they just call it a "push bar" but I might be labeling it wrong. Josh had a link above that showed what I want but the pictures they are all on F150's... I have yet to see one on an F250 and that bothers me.. Unless I see a picture... I'm not real keen on buying so I'm gonna call the company later on and ask them.

Side note, RIch, how'd you like those New Venture radial APR's? I cannot find them anymore. I thought they were good rubbers. Good on snow ice dry pavement gravel and got the job done offroad. I liked the price too. in '04 the set of 4 ran me $506. Same size replacing them with Kumho's this past summer ran me $994. SFK... I did some looking around again.. All I have on the pickups are either goodyears or Hankooks... I can't find any new ventures I put on anything? Of course... I havn't looked at the all season set that I have for the dodge that are in the garage right now. They aren't on cause it's wintertime and I always run the mudders this time of year. But... I was under the impression those were Hankooks too. Do you recall what I said I put those new ventures on? I put a set of tires on the Missus car too but damned if I can recall what breed those were. I just ain't remembering that name on anythign I'm running currently. Can't remember what the suburban had now that I traded off. Maybe that was the new ventures. If thats the case I have no clue how those tires are doing. Got rid of the sub back at the end of July for this pickup.

Those are what I'm talking about Roy. Those are the only kind I can find and I think they look like shit.
Reminds me of a midget. They arn't tall enough. To round and stunted.

That would damn sure work, probably quite a bit heavier than a store bought one. If that is good or bad I don't know. I still can't believe somebody does not still make them. Or somebody has one in the back of a warehouse or storeroom somewhere.

Roy Might be good (heavier) I suppose from a protection standpoint perhaps but depending on the weight added it could throw the alighnment out of whack and cost again to have that done. Also.... where I'm not wanting a full bull guard, just the center piece, protection of the front clip fully isn't really going to be a debateable topic. I imagine if I can find tubing that is light enough weight wise but I can weld without burning through horribly that I should be in good shape. Time will tell. Currently I have enough other projects going right now that building a guard for the pickup has taken a back seat. All this nice weather lately I have been taking advantage of.

Yea, I like that one Roy.. Problem is it's on an F150. They do not have any pictures of one on an F250. I've dealt with people like that in the past that put up the pics of 1 model and say it fits others and it won't. I asked the company if they knew for sure it would fit an F 250 and if they had any pics that they could send me of it attached to one and I have never got anything back since this lil fiasco search started. I'm tempted to believe that they are full of it. The front clip on an 150 varies greatly from a 250 and they will not interchange. Unless they have a guard specifically made for the 250... The one in the pics won't work.. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I guess maybe I could call them. It's like I want... I just don't believe them that they have one that fits a 250 when you request photos of it and the links bring up one installed on a half ton.

Yes. But that front bumper is different from an 09's. That front end is more similar to the 01 through 06.... maybe even 07. I'm not certain on that. I know the 09 is different.

I think he better get one with the winch on it. Being a Ford you just never know which water puddle out there on the main road will get him hung up.
