I had no idea anyone else here did that stuff ,So far this winter we have cut and hauled about 2k$ worth of scrap .
Just got back from looking at a old white combine ,guess its an 87-8800 model ,FREE ,just get it gone ,Same fellow has a grain bin too ,to cut down .
If a fellow does not mind working its good money .

Around here they just get hauled in, no cutting apart. That only works if you have the title. If you don't have the title, then you have to cut it apart so it comes in as parts. I didn't even think about that it was new enough to need the title.

If it's older then 1976 a title is not necessary to get rid of the vehicle in one piece. 1977 and newer need titles. Now i'm having a lil trouble with the place I usually goto. Apparently laws have changed again and they are talking like they won't even take it cut up. Nebraska apparently the laws are different but I dont' have enough scrap to run clear up to Kearney. May just have a local guy that hauls cars up there come get it for a few bucks. I can still haul the engine and tranny over seperated from the subframe to my scrapper. Damn gov't intervention. Causes more flipping grief anymore these days.

I take the doors off hood and trunk in 1 load ,rest in another cut in 2 pieces .
I dont really like cars because of the red tape and cutting .
About to get started on a white 8600 combine ,if its dry enough to get to it .

I really didn't want to have to cut this car up in pieces if I could help it. It's loaded down with a bunch of crap from the previous owner that I was wanting to send right along with it to the scrapper and let them deal with the trash.
Found another outfit local that hauls cars to kearney Ne. Apparently there the state isn't as stringent about titles. Going to see if he wants to make an offer on the p.o.s. and be done with it.
Worse case scenario..... apply for a lost title.. spend a few bucks and when it arrives in the mail drive with it to the scrapper. Seems like foolishness but it's gov't mandated so I feel that accusation is quite fitting.
